I am new to Astromart, This seems to be a great forum for info. Please excuse my ignorance, but I am here to learn. I am very interested in Astro imaging. I have a Meade EXT70 goto scope and in a couple of days I will have a Orion XT10 (no-goto, no tracking). I am very interested in the nebulae and planetary images I see you pro's displaying here. They are awesome. What do I need for my scopes to be able to capture this stuff? I am mostly interested in the webcams. I don't have a webcam or adapters at this time. Any help or comments would be appreciated.
What do I need?

Hi Rich,
I totaly agree with Stu. Find out everything you can before going into imaging. The planets and moon don't require as much equipment as the deep space objects so thats a good place to start. Web cams work very well for that. I havent seen to many deep space images with web cams but there are some. Plus you get into autoguiding and polar alignment and even though your telescope tracks doesnt mean it tracks well enough for imaging. And thats a whole other ball game.
But if you have time, some money and a whole lot of patients, go for it.
