Hi all,
I am the proud owner of a Canon G3. Putting it on a TAK102. Do any of you have any experience with the Scopetronix stuff? Specifically, should I get their 40mm EP plus ring, or just the DigiTsystem and using existing eyepieces. Supposedly, viginetting could be a problem without using their EP. Would appreciate any opinions on a good setup.

Based on my experience with a 30mm Celestron Ultima I would say the 40mm setup would be the way to go. I've attached a daytime pic using my G3 at full optical zoom (4x) and the above mentioned eyepiece and you can still see some vignetting. I plan on eventually getting the Scopetronix setup so I'm curious to see some pics using this setup as well.
