Tried c2009/P1 again.
Tracking on the comet worked fairly well considering the density of the star field.
Managed to get eight 5 minute exposures in a row so the star tracks weren't aall broken up,
Finally had to stop taking exposures when I couldn't buck a star in the guide field.
8X5min exposures with a Hutech Canon 40D (clear filter) and Skywatcher 120ED with Borg 7887 reducer/flattener.
