Got my first DLSR about a month ago - a D90 - and here's my initial deep sky effort. Moon was nearly full but I like the quick and easy results. This is a 90 second exposure at prime focus of a ZenithStar 105, post processed in PSP Pro-X3 for contrast, cropping, and light curve. Can't wait to have more time with this under a moonless sky and some real tracking.

I already Love the D90 for daylight work - you can see some of that at http://www.pswalsh.com/nikon.htm (there are a couple of lunar shots as well.)
