Folks,

Based on advice from a friend who uses one for
4"x5" slides, and on positive response from
APML list members, I bought an Epson 3200
scanner for use with 645 astro slides.
Here's its "first light" image. I'll
run some more slides through it and
report more, but so far, it looks VERY
GOOD - and only $300 (w/ rebate)!

Cheers
Todd

Looks good. What kind of camera body are you using? I had considered moving away from my Nikon to perhaps a Pentax 67, but have not committed to that yet. How much difficulty is there in finding the right T-rings etc, for a 645 format? I always enjoy your images, keep up the good work. I have three images shot in the last 10 days of NGC2237 waiting to come back from the lab I'm dying to get back.
