M31 With Meteor

M31 with a short little meteor just to the right side of it. Kind of neat!

2 x 45min with a ST-80mm F5 on Kodak PJ400.

Hey Rick, you missed 2 outstanding nights (12th & 13th), almost the best I've seen it there at our site. It wasn't very steady but the transparency was excellent. We'll get out in the first week of Aug. or so.

Andy, the pic was done with no filters, just two 45min shots combined for the final results.

Kevin, can't wait to see your pics. Finally checked your web site out. Nice! Keep up the good work. Did you use the Tak for your shots of M31?
I took my shots on the 13th and we were seeing quite a few short, fast meteors. Alot of them seemed to originate from the Cygnus area, but there were some that came from the Perseus area so it could be an early one.
