Hi, has anybody tried doing medium format (6x7) astrophotography on a nexstar 8? In fact, can a 8" accomodate medium format astrophotography?

Thanks

An 8" SCT @ F10 will fully illuminate just a little more than 35mm negative so this combo will produce a photo that is highly vignetted. That is, if you can even find the necessary adapters and such. Even in the larger 10-14" SCT's with the larger visual back you won't get 100% coverage.
