Here's a big ole dragonfly that I found while walking the dog last summer! Anybody found any bigger bugs lately? 8O

I have several telescopes, but none are semi-APO, APO, or in anyway valuable.

The bug itself was not that big but when you include the dreadlock (buglocks smile ) it was about six inches long. This is definitely one of the weirdest bug I have ever seen.

We found these in the Maya Mountains of western Belize last year. The locals called them "chicken bugs" and I have not had the time to find more information. Someone told me they are related to aphids. Maybe aphids on steroids!
