Busy Bees

I had a little time to kill yesterday while driving from Fresno to a meeting in Sacramento. Just south of the Stockton Airport there is a park that right now is ringed with mustard. I spent about half an hour shooting flowers and bees with my Olympus E-1 and 50-200 mm lens. Shooting bees is not easy, but I got some good ones. Here are two of the best.

This bee is cleaner than the first one. Obviously he hasn't been working as hard.

Hi Fred. Wonderful pics! Along with Stargazing, Beekeeping is my hobby. Not much blooming here in Ohio yet for the bees to work. I can really appreciate those shots. Regards......Tom Andrews.
