After a 3 year absence, we have bees again, probably 40 to 50 in this one bush in our front yard. We are pretty certain that they were wiped out by the previous mite infestation. Taken with a Canon Rebel Xt and the included 18-55 mm lense

I too just began seeing bees again, after a year or two of none. Not sure, but maybe they are on the road to recovery!
