Wild Geranium

The weather was lovely today and I went out to hunt down some Yellow Lady's-slippers orchids (I found them, pictures to come later). I found this lovely wild geranium--actually they were everywhere, but this bloom and bud set looked perfect--and had to shoot an image. This is uncropped, straight out of the camera, just resized for the web.

Nice shot and composition.
I've yet to find any Yellow Lady's-slippers despite all my reference's saying they are found in these parts.

Very delicate looking. Love the contrast of the lavender/purple against that brilliant green.
