Our new apartment has a treetop level balcony that lets us look down into a heavily wooded ravine. I used binoculars to spot this little guy taking a nap this afternoon. So, if you ever wondered what squirrels do in the afternoon, now you know. Actually, I'm kind of jealous. . .

Later in the afternoon, we took our dog to the park and encountered this guy. Apparently, he was once a member of Squirrel Team 6. He made it clear that if he wasn't a little squirrel he'd come down and kick our butts.
