C-8 Tripod For Outdoor Education

San Mateo County Outdoor Education brings kids from fifth to eighth grades to camp for a week in the redwoods. Their C-8 suffered from misuse by inexperienced counselors, but they now have an experienced amateur to run the astronomy program.

However, the tripod was allowed the full coastal California experience and is no longer usable.

If anyone can donate or sell for a reasonable price a replacement tripod, they're back in business!

Update: I have a couple of local leads but won't have info about whether the whole unit is needed, or just legs, until school starts, since the Outdoor Ed program has everything stored in a container which won't be opened until then.

Thanks to all who replied with offers! This is a wonderful program which offers all sorts of new experiences to kids, some of whom have never been to the deep, dark woods.
