My Favorite Network News Is...

OK - so here on an astronomical site, we have to deal with polls that ask "Who is the worst US President" and "What is your favorite "news" channel". Hard to miss that these are political in nature and have no place on here. As if "Fox" was an actual news channel! Kinda like saying "National Enquirer" is a real newspaper isn;t it?

Being popular (ie, #1) does not in itself show validity - just shows a lot of people follow it - like, say, Astrology. Just because the masses make something popular does not necessarily mean it's valid.

I'd agree with you if you were right. But all the President has done is do what the President is supposed to do - EQUALLY support all faiths (or non believers)

As a chaplain's assisnt in the Military for 21 years, I can say that for most of our history, the Judeo_Christian way has been at the forefront in our country. The problem is, when Judeo-Christian folowers see a President actually acknoledging another major faith group that has largely been ignored over the years, it APPEARS that he favors them.

So, becuase Judeo-Christians are accustomed to preferential treatment without being challenged, now that another faith group steps up to the plate and is acknowledged - they are getting preferential treatment??? HOGWASH.

Read the constitution - it applies to EVERYONE, not just a select few.

No thanks - I have grown weary of right wing nutjobs who, because of their loudness and bullying techniques have managed to hijack this great country of ours.

I, for one, am tired of it and will not just sit anymore and watch my country go down the tubes because of people who a) have no clue of what our constitution says, and b) yell and whine about THEIR constitutional rights being taken away while on the other hand denyiny rights to other.

Get over it guys, it's not just your country and your rules - it's EVERYONE"S and we are all under the law.

Nooo - I FULLY agree that it shouldn't be built. I don;t agree with Muslim religion or philosphy - But I defend to the death their right to do so - that is what this country is supposed to be about. Otherwise, one day (and sooner than you think), we will be in the minority and will deserve the mistreatment we receive by the new majority. I wouldn;t like to see that at all.
