m57 revisited

hi,

i added 1 hr lum to my m57 image and reprocessed it as a LRGB. I tried to get some additional detail in the inner darker parts of the nebula.Taken with a mewlon 250 and SBIG ST10XME.

hi,

I took this while I was waiting for the skies to darken fot a deep sky imaging session. Taken with a Mewlon 250 at f9 and a ST10XME with a Halpha filter. Six 0.11 second exposures averaged and processed in MaximDL4.

Two images of ngc7789 open cluster in Cassiopeia both are RGB with a
ST10XME and 15 mins each channel.

hi all,

This is a (L+r):RGB image of ngc7538 a small ( 6' diameter ) faint nebula in Cepheus very near the bubble nebula. The sizz of this is just a hair bigger then the bubble part of the bubble nebula.

Imaged with a Mewlon 250 at f9 and ST10XME 50 mins Lum 1x1 bin and 35 mins Red 2x2 bin were combined for the lum image by overlaying the 1x1 bin over the 2x2 bin and using about a 80% combine ratio so it's mostly 1x1 with a bit of the 2x2 red to give some added signal to the faint areas.

The RGB was 15min each channel 2x2 binning

m27 ..have it your way

hi all,

I set up a series of web pages showing multiple images of m27. The most recent images are from 4 days ago when I got some L and RGB data with my Mewlon 250 at f9 and ST10XME 1x1 binning. I had old data taken with a ST8E camera at 2x2 binning and the Mewlon at f12. There are various monochrome and color images displayed, a total of 5 web pages in all with monochrome, LRGB and Ha shocked

hi,

This is the final processing of my recent image of m27. Taken with a Mewlon250 and ST10XME. LRGB 60:15:15:15 minutes.I had a hard time getting the proper teal color in the middle of the nebula, and it took some processing tricks.

Here's a reprocesed image of m16, with some new tricks available in MaximDl v4 ( pixel value selective high/low pass filtering and unsharpmasking )

m16 Halpha 120 mins Takahashi Mewlon250 at f12 st8 2x2 bin 125 mins total expsoure.
