Bush's Brainstorm: Sell National Forests

Posted By Dwight Bogan

This would be great for the developers, Imagine having you home nestled in at yellowstone national park or the view from your living room window at the top of the grand canyon. Lets destroy any possible future for the generations unborn.

What happens now?

Posted By Dwight Bogan

Why are you concerned what happens next. 8) I like hearing and reading about how the Republicans in typical Republican style tried to keep the incident secret. grin When that did not work, they tried blaming the person who got shot. wink So they the Republicans keep changing the story. smile This never ends. 8) Now if it was Clinton that was involved in a hunting accident the Republicans would be demanding his resignation and so forth. 8O

Here is the Republican motif in a nutshell. 8) An incident happens some Republican screwed up. grin The first thing they do is keep it secret did anyone else see it. 8) Lets try and buy him off. wink This fails the word gets out the next thing they will try to do if they can't outright deny the incident occured is to blame the incident on someone else. 8O This does not work then they keep changing the story over and over and over again. This never ends. grin

NA 120 is not a Petzval design. In reality it is basically an Achromat. It is not a semi apo nor is it an Apo. If your expecting that kind of performance I think your going to be dissappointed.

I don't think its such a ridiculous idea at all. 8O Young Jewish men were expected to take on a mate at a relatively young age. wink Certainly before the age of 24, bachelorhood was not an option. Jesus would have had plenty of time for that sort of thing. wink Now who do we know mentioned in the bible could have been Jesus wife and who in the early church would have suppressed that knowledge. It pretty will understood that Paul was big time anti female in fact in todays society he would have been considered nuts for his hatred of women. But in the new testament he is revered. Who could have been Jesus's wife. None other that Mary Magdalene reduced to a Harlot thanks to Paul.

If any of this turns out to be true I would not be surprised. Now did Jesus and Mary have any kids. There is actually a legend about that . After the Crucification the son or children of Jesus it was unknown whether or not he had more than one child but he did have at least one son. This child was taken to either to Gaul or Britannia to live with a Roman family where he basically dropped out of history. Or did he. Ever hear of merlin. grin How about king Arthur 8) Isnt there some British last names named Magdelene or at least derivatives of this name existing to this day in Britan and Scottland.

>>>Yes, I read this in the news this morning.
I haven't read the book but, I've heard about it. I think the idea of Jesus having a wife and a bunch of rug-rats is ridiculous. <<<

Bush: Bin Laden helped me win

Posted By Dwight Bogan

Go to Google and type in PNAC the neocons needed a reason to get their program off to a roaring start and Osama Bin Laden provided it. Knowing the past history of the Republican party and their underhandedness it would not surprise me that the white house knew what was coming down on Sept 11 2001. Yes Osama Bin Laden helped George Bush to win. Of course Bin Laden would want this. George Bush and the Neocons are doing to the USA what he himself ( Osama ) could never do. And its working.

Okay, here's the master plan!

Posted By Dwight Bogan

By 2012 here's my take. The deficit has ballooned to 15 trillion dollars we are still in Iraq. And oh we are also in Iran too. The border is as insecure as it gets with even more people crossing the border everyday. It has been estimated that there are 60 million illegals in the USA most of them are in Texas, New Mexico Arizona and Southern California. All the major Aerospace firms in the US have off shored themselves while idling thousands of highly skilled engineers and Technicians who can't even get a job as a greeter at Wal Mart (overqualified)
Social Security is bankrupt taken care of by the illegals, Welfare is out of the question. Unemployment insurance is history. Medicare is a dismal failure. Basically you get sick or injured and your not a millionaire your life is for all intents is over with. Bush has declared himself emperor and Ann Colter is first citizen. Chenney died of a heart attack some years earlier. There is a Gulag detention camp in nearly every state except Rhoade Island. They just built a wall around it. The Gulags had been filled with Jews, Blacks Prominent Democrats and of course all the dissenters like Cindy Sheahan. No one knows where she is actually. All the labor is handled by the illegals including the prison gaurds at each of the 50,000 population concentration camps.

Its great to be Rich, Republican and Conservative.

Oh gas is 10 dollars a gallon.

TEC 140 pricing

Posted By Dwight Bogan

Yes its more difficult to produce a lens at F6 than at a longer focal length and yes its more difficult with larger diameters. Another factor that needs attention is a way to ensure the centering of the elements stay where they are supposed to and at all temperatures.

From what I know about the 140 TEC which is definately one of the finer APO's easily on a par with the AP scopes. TEC is apparently using test plates to ensure uniformaty on all surfaces and everything is polished to as high degree as is possible.

I've looked through many of TEC's Maksutovs and if they maintain the same standards with their Apo's as they do with the Maks and from what I've read they do their is not going to be a problem. Since they are located in the USA any problems that do turn up can be easily solved. I have never heard of a lemon coming out of TEC nor any unsatisfied customers.

Even though I own several AP refractors a 130 F6 and 155 F7 I'm still considering a 140 TEC just to say I have one grin

How does Yuri produce a 140mm f7 oil spaced triplet apo with 3.5" Feathertouch for $4750 when all of the other premium apo makers usually charge $6K for a 130 f6?? is it harder to produce the smaller lens at f6 than the larger one at f7 ??? or are their other factors to consider ??

Apo refractors comparison

Posted By Dwight Bogan

Since I own a Takahashi FS 78 I think I would go for it over the list of options you mentioned. The Tak is more than likely to have been figured to a much higher standard then either of the before mentioned scopes. My own experience for this particular scope the views of the moon and planets are 2nd to none. Actually the scope behaves more like a 4 inch refractor from what I can tell and from what others who have looked thought my little Tak would agree with. Also the Tak FS 78 is a real charmer for a quick setup double star observing scope. I use my FS 78 in tandem with my AP 130 F6 and both scopes compliment each other quite well.
