I sold my C5, my Stellarvue A1010, and my Zeiss 63/840. All have been replaced by my new Tak FS78. Can anyone tell me why I don't miss the other three?

When I received the scope it had an extra dew shield. I cut it down to 2.2" and now have an OTA measuring 22.4" in length. The standard dew shield, diagonal, and eyepieces can be carried seperately. Makes a very nice airline compatable setup. I also found that Rubbermaid has a small food container with a lid that fits the dew shield perfectly. Two bucks at Walmart. Okay, so I'm a cheap b-----d, but my strong point has always been Afro-American engineering.

University optics 2.8x Klee Barlow

Have you tried one of these beauties yet? I had a 2.5x Teleview Powermate, and was truly impressed by it's performance. I am even more impressed by the Klee. It is at least as good as the T.V. but, in my opinion, better. Lots of bang for $60.00. No, I am not related to, nor employed by anyone at U.O. I'm just really impressed with the Klee.
