help me shoose between two scopes

I have the same problem with my 10x50 binocs. I have a celestron 76gt which is a three and a half inch reflector on a goto mount. I learned alot about the sky with this when it works properly. Its being repaired for a motor problrm at the factory. I also have a celestron C8N eight inch reflector on a non motorized CG5 mount. At low power it takes minor tweeking to keep stuff in view. Now at high power its a little quicker to adjust but easy to do. I dont have a dob but from what ive researched i think it would be a great beginer scope. Hope this helps. Rick.

Hooray for celestron. I took my mount back to where i bought if from he sent it in and in less than two weeks it was returned. Cost $8.00 for shipping. It works better now than it ever did. Thanks to my dealer and the factory. This is what i was told would happen and now you have proved it im hooked on celestron products.

I hope this helps i did 65 fifth graders but just talked and showed pictures. I set up my scopes and showed them off. Then at the end of the day i gave away two 60mmx700mm telescopes i bought off ebay for cheap. I cleaned them up fixed everything and explained to the boy and girl winners dont expect alot. Told them to look at the moon and planets and just explorer. Have fun.

You dont need the batteries when you use the power tank. The unit should save the batteries if the tank is used at the same time. Alwys leave the controler hooked to the proper connection do not use it in the aux.
