Technical nit-pick: when I click on the "(2400 x 1800)" link it takes me to an image of IC1805. Very nice shot of that, too, BTW.

My take on two winter classics

Next up is the Cone and FoxFur region (which seems pretty popular these days). This is only my first try at this region! I'm pretty please with the way this one turned out in various combinations of H-alpha/LRGB, that I had to post all my variations.

Same equipment as Horsehead.

H-alpha: 10 x 30 Minutes Binned 1x1
L :16 x 10 Minutes Binned 1 x 1
Red: 17 x 10 Minutes Binned 1x1
Green: 17 x 10 Minutes Binned 1x1
Blue: 17 x 10 Minutes Binned 1x1

16 Hours and 10 Minutes Total Exposure Time

Excellent! This is a classic that I need to visit some day smile Is your friend getting his FSQ back? wink Your comment about the flare made me look for it; what's left is not offensive at all. But it also highlighted an interesting object near the lower left frame. Is that a ring galaxy, or a PN?
