The US Deals ANOTHER Crushing Defeat to the Totalitarian Marxist Joe Biden and His Democrat Thugs!

You and these articles claim that "investors", "the IMF", "Eu nations", and the US were pressing for his firing.

Here's the question again:  Which EU nation got him fired?

I don't see a name of the nation.

Please let us know, since you are regurgitating it.

Biden claimed that he told them "I'm leaving in six hours to go back to the US, and if he isn't fired by the time I leave, you aren't getting the Billion dollars",  then Biden said "well son of a bitch, they fired him".

So according to Biden, he got Shokin fired, and it was right after he made his threat telling them that they wouldn't get the Billion dollars unless they did fire him.

Because your leftist news outlets wanted to cover for Biden, and they claim that it was more than the US, I'll leave my challenge to provide evidence that the others were the ones who got Shokin fired.

Nah, it was Joe Biden threatening them, and he did so to take the heat off the case investigating the corruption at Burisma.
Lol! RadioFreeEurope is a "leftist" outlet that wanted to cover for Biden?! Well I gotta say, talk about a laugher of a day! I guess our resident dick is good for something.
That said, it should be obvious the consensus from the EU is that they wanted Shokin fired and that was well before Biden arrived on the scene. He merely made it clear the US wouldn't be funding a prosecutor who wouldn't investigate corruption. Of course, that isn't clear enough for an obtuse dick...

Of course, you wouldn't recognize that fact since you are now and probably have always been a communist.
It's called the european union for reason.
The fact that you call radiofreeeurope a leftist outlet should tell anyone with half a brain and some cognizance of history who the actual communist is here...

You beat me to it. Like a lot of things, Greg hasn't heard of the insurance debacle for people living in Florida, specific to rising sea levels.  When the next flood or hurricane hits Florida, all the MAGA types who hate their government will line up at the trough and complain about how FEMMA isn't rebuilding their houses...

"Given the combination of increased risk due to climate change and a difficult legal environment many national and multinational insurers have all but withdrawn from Florida."
"The risks presented to insurers and reinsurers by climate change are not unique to Florida or even other tropical storm-exposed areas around the world. Increased prevalence of wildfires in the Western U.S. and Southern Europe, atypical winter storms in the U.S., and flooding in Northern Europe, Asia and Australia is being attributed to climate change. Legislators around the world may soon be grappling with scarcity of insurance supply and identifying measures to alleviate the impact of the issue on their citizens."

"... whether or not you believe climate change is a problem, your data-driven insurance company already does — and it's responding, in most cases faster than government regulators."
"The insurance companies are seeing that now, in certain areas, the risk that they had once in 20 or 30 years is now every couple of years, or every year. They're having to make those hard decisions to pull out of markets."

Here in CA, we are down to one major home insurance carrier, State Farm, as all others have abandoned the state, and primarily due to the increase of wildfires. I've lived here since 1980, and it is far worse this decade than the previous 4 prior. I realize it is more complex that just blaming climate change, but it is still the predominant cause.

I promised I wouldn't waste my time providing info for you, but I'm baby-sitting my Chili at the moment and have time to kill, so here are a few tidbits:

Trying to convince our resident dick and his sidekick with legitimate references rather than with blogs and right wing climate deniers is a futile task. Given that they deny the actions of the insurance companies and the reasons for them, it's evident they continue to deny reality as well...

State-sponsored insurance for those that can't get a policy can be in the 10's of thousands of dollars per year depending on where you live in CA, so this is becoming a crisis. Rates have gone up over 50% in the past couple years of those that are left. As they say, two things can be true at the same time.

Fair and balanced as always
Well, I'm acutely aware of the situation since I live in a high fire risk area in SoCal. Each year, I and my neighbors have to be concerned about homeowners insurance being canceled. However, the scenario is not as cut and dry as it may seem from the posts in this forum. Some carriers, like state farm, continue to write homeowners policies for existing customers but not for new ones. Others, like farmers, either stop writing homeowners insurance entirely, or continue to write policies for property and liability insurance but require you to buy fire insurance from the California Fair Plan which provides for insurance in high risk fire areas. In essence, you then pay two homeowner insurance policies per year, one from your property/liability carrier and the other from the Cal Fair Plan. Fortunately, I haven't had to do the same for a two story single family home...yet... and the premiums in the area, again a very high fire risk area at that, are as of yet nowhere near the higher one that you are quoting although it can be even significantly higher for those who own condos and townhomes because the policy is a collective one that covers the entire area the condos and townhomes sit on. In fact, some in the area who have condos/townhouses have been selling them because of the high costs of insurance.

Jim
The way I see it, the Purdue experience, as noble and as righteous as it is, is unfortunately an outlier and one that was or perhaps still is potentially available to only a tiny fraction of the population. While it might serve as a role model, it has not, unfortunately, been inculcated into the educational system in the USA. Therefore, other means of relief need to be considered. You don't like the Biden approach and I don't like the GOP approach which I've already covered in another thread. I suspect the student population favors the former over the latter. There's not much left for a middle ground here, now is there?

Unfortunately, it's not going to change. Although there are acts of bipartisanship accomplished by Biden, which he ought to get a peace prize for, notably the chips act and the infrastructure act, the reality is Republican congressmen and senators continue to vote against bipartisan measures, constantly criticizing them for bogus reasons, and then claim credit for them when they are instituted into their own states or districts. Or, they sue in court hoping a conservative court will achieve what they can't do themselves. That's how they roll...

DeSantis Reportedly pays Supporters To Show Up

Posted By Rod Kaufman

“He is the first presidential candidate that is going out and buying and paying for representation … he's not building a grassroots organization,” Freeman said. “And it could very well be that he uses Never Back Down because he can’t garner state support from individual residents in Iowa. Therein lies the problem. He is misleading the public of Iowa by sending busloads of people to a parade and they don't even live in the area and in fact, most of them don't even live in the state of Iowa.”
"Freeman said he’s neutral in the race and neither supports nor opposes DeSantis, current frontrunner Donald Trump or any of the other dozen candidates."
