Thanks, guys. If it wasn't for my daughter, I'd still be on exile. 
Haven't seen or heard from Greg on CN where he used to be a moderator on the ATM forum. I remember he posted awhile back here on this forum that he bought a new 5th wheeler and was going somewhere, perhaps he's off the grid?
Anyhow, I've got relatives in bomb shelters in Ashkelon, Israel where they've been taking heavy fire and others who have been called up for duty. Scary times...

Well, first of all, thanks for your comments, completely understandable given the explanation, but in reference to a forfeiture to exist--that needs clarification.
In regards to the latter, I've heard of various comments from politicians that Gaza, for example, should be "wiped off the map and they ought to put up a parking lot".
Well, cooler heads need to prevail. What they ought to do is wipe Gaza off the map and put up an observatory in a newly dark sky site...

I'd add that the MAGA extremists in the house of representatives are blocking legislation by paralyzing it in their current chaos of their speakership debacle. Their current front runner for the position, Jim Jordan, is adamant in opposing any aid for Ukraine, much to the delight of Putin who may have very well played a hand in the Hamas/Iran partnership. And, evidently, neither Jordan or his fellow MAGA extremists give a rat's butt if Putin marches across Ukraine as well as Moldavia and on into Poland, too. I don't see Rich posting anything about that...

It sure is sad that Rod evidently condones the Taliban raping young girls.  

I'd just say, what the hell is wrong with that guy?
Actually, a review of my posts would reveal my position as being unchanged in advocating for a continuing US military presence in Afghanistan because of the Taliban. I've advocated that since Dubya invaded Iraq and placed most of our efforts and resources to a much greater extent there than in Afghanistan.
