Some of our friends and acquaintances did total isolation over the holidays this year.  Their kids were not even allowed home.    I certainly can see that if you are compromised, but I was very happy to have our young adult children home for a few days.  We were not crazy folks though, we cancelled a reunion in Indiana for my dad's 90th.  Had a zoom meeting, but I was really disappointed not to be there.  Mom and Dad are looking forward to getting vaccinated as soon as possible.  We'll get together this summer, with any luck at all.
