Another Great Night For Dems!

Posted By Rod Kaufman

Ohio becomes yet another state to ENSHRINE abortion rights into its constitution.Kentucky RE-ELECTS its Democratic governor. Virginia FLIPS its state legislature Democratic, despite the heavy handed campaigning of its GOP wonderboy governor and some GOP dirty tricks disenfranchising voters.
All and all, a great night for Democratic victories!...

A good read:
"So far I have seen the IDF implementing – and in some cases going beyond – many of the best practices developed to minimize the harm of civilians in similar large-scale urban battles."

Trump's VP Pick: Tucker Carlson!

Posted By Rod Kaufman

They both like walls, and as Trump says, "Walls Work!" (and Mexico is gonna pay for it, too):

I bet Putin is ecstatic upon hearing this news since Tucker had been on Russian "news" 24/7 for his anti-Ukraine/ pro-Ruskie stance from day 1...

ABC News: Sen. Joe Manchin, moderate West Virginia Democrat, won't seek reelection

"I have made one of the toughest decisions of my life and decided that I will not be running for reelection to the United States Senate, but what I will be doing is traveling the country and speaking out to see if there is an interest in creating a movement to mobilize the middle and bring Americans together," Manchin said.

It'll make it tough for the dems to hold onto that seat, and Manchin could F it up even more by running as a third party candidate which would probably syphon off votes for Biden and then we could have Trump 2.0 with a GOP congress.

Thanks, Joe.
That and Stein just announced today that she's running again for the green party. She siphoned off enough votes in the swing states to tip the balance from Hillary to Trump in 2016 and she'll do it again in '24...

Trump's vermin comment yesterday and Rolling Stone's article where he bragged that Merkel said ‘Only one other political leader’ drew bigger crowds

From the linked article:

Edited to bolden Trumps' actual words.

“Today, ‘in honor of our great Veterans,’ ex-President demands on social media to ‘root out the Communists, Marxists, Fascists and Radical Left Thugs that live like vermin within the confines of our Country,’ presidential historian Michael Beschloss tweeted Saturday. “Please tell us if this reminds you of any earlier historical figure.” The use of “vermin,” according to Michael Tomasky, the editor of The New Republic, is “an unusual word choice….And it appears in history in chiefly in one context, and one context only,” calling it Trump’s usage “straight-up Nazi talk, in a way he’s never done quite before.”

Trump’s populist appeal and incendiary rhetoric are often compared to Hilter’s cult of personality and authoritarian rule. Trump sparked widespread outrage last month when he accused undocumented immigrants of “poisoning the blood of our country” in an interview with the right-wing website, The National Pulse. “Nobody has any idea where these people are coming from, and we know they come from prisons. We know they come from mental institutions and insane asylums. We know they’re terrorists,” Trump said, adding “It’s so bad, and people are coming in with disease. People are coming in with every possible thing that you could have.” Anti-Defamation League CEO Jonathan Greenblatt warned the statement “echoes nativist talking points and has the potential to cause real danger and violence,” he told multiple outlets, while the New York Times pointed out that several passages in Hilter’s “Mein Kampf” describe the “influx of foreign blood” as “poison.”

Still not saying he's a Nazi, but perhaps his words are troubling?

Seems much more accurate with that definition.  smile
And nothing like Rich Davis being a tool for Donald Trump, huh?...

Unlike some here, I vote the economic/political policies that are good for the nation, I don't vote personality as the RINOs here on the forum do.

I consider the issues and their effect on the economy, rather than worrying about a President who engages in Mean tweets.

See I'm not about my ego the way the RINOs on the forum here are.

It isn't all about ME, as it is with the RINOs and I don't need to satiate a petty and childish ego, as the RINOs here on the forum need to satiate.

Unlike the RINOs here on the forum who are more concerned about their petty, childish, personal hatred towards Donald Trump, I care about the USA more than I care about what a President's personality is.

You see, I'm not willing to burn down the nation economically as the RINOs here are willing to do because they are so juvenile and foolish that they would vote for a corrupt President like Joe Biden

You see, I put what is in the best interests of the nation, rather than putting my own selfishness first, the way these RINOs on the forum do.

If that bothers you, well then I don't really care.

Unlike the RINOs here on the forum, I vote economic/political policy and I leave it to the RINOs to  vote for Personality above the best interests of the country I live and and that I love.  smile
Voting for the "best interests of the county"?!!! Lol! Trump, in the words yesterday of a judge from your state, did engage in an insurrection on Jan 6th! 60 courts have deemed his election fraud manta to be fraud. Not to mention the other 91 counts pending against him. All that and his pledge to transform a democracy into an autocracy if re-elected. Along with pro-Putin pro-Russia policies. How is all of the aforementioned possibly in the "best interests of the country"?
BTW, inflation was zero last month and around 3% overall, the GDP is way up, gas prices are falling, and the stock market in nearing 35000.

He's just one small example of what's coming if Trump regains power:

"Former President Trump's allies are pre-screening the ideologies of thousands of potential foot soldiers, as part of an unprecedented operation to centralize and expand his power at every level of the U.S. government if he wins in 2024, officials involved in the effort tell Axios."

"Why it matters: Hundreds of people are spending tens of millions of dollars to install a pre-vetted, pro-Trump army of up to 54,000 loyalists across government to rip off the restraints imposed on the previous 46 presidents."

"The screening for ready-to-serve loyalists has already begun, driven in part by artificial intelligence from tech giant Oracle, contracted for the project.
Social media histories are already being plumbed."
