Trump wants to fire him even though he appointed him. I've been negative on Powell but now I've reconsidered and it appears Biden made the right decision in retaining him.

Now, if the Trump appeal goes to SCOTUS, which shouldn't even have to be heard, it'll likely get a review if Thomas is the initial judge that hears it and I think he will be, and that will likely push a decision beyond the 2024 election which is ultimately what Trump wants out of this legal circus in the first place.

Speaking of Clarence, he'll be listening to the oral arguments to keep Trump off the ballots on Thursday. Since everybody knows how the so-called "originalist" is going to decide, you have to wonder why he even bothers to show up. I guess he has to keep up appearances...

Gee Rich, if all Biden has to do to shut down the border is to issue an executive order as the Republican speaker of the house claims, then why didn't Trump do it?...

Joe Biden has the power to close the border any time he chooses to but he won't because he doesn't give a shit about the country, as neither do any other Democrat politicians in Washington D.C.  

Oh, I'm sure we all see now that rather than to close the border by simply issuing an executive order as the GOP House Speaker and his fellow MAGA's claim Biden should and can do, Trump, instead, had to institute a policy, build a wall, and tell everybody Mexico would pay for it...
