Looks like the corrupt and Far Leftist Democrat party are going to fail in epic fashion of their Election Interference Scheme at the Supreme Court, as the Justices seem to be leaning towards Honesty and Upholding the Constitution

You do know that the original clause of the 14th amendment initially included the President and Vice President but those 2 people were purposely removed because they realized that the 14th amendment shouldn't apply to them.

The whole case is built on a ridiculous reading of that clause of the Amendment.

And BTW, the Chief Justice of the Colorado Supreme Court and 2 other Justices on the court sided against the Majority of Leftists on the Court, and every one of them is a Liberal Democrat.     smile

OOOHH they're all Democrats and 3 of them voted against the ruling.
"OOOHH they're all Democrats and 3 of them voted against the ruling."

Those goshdarn leftist liberal democrats!

And about that ridiculous read: "Luttig, who previously said that the 14th Amendment should disqualify Trump,..." "Luttig, a conservative who served on the 4th Circuit of Appeals for 25 years, predicted the Supreme Court is likely looking for any way to avoid a substantive ruling on the Trump disqualification case,..."

Interesting Take On Scotus Today From Van Jones

I agree with the following assessment that the lawyer for colorado could have done a lot better:

Tucker's "Interview" With Putin

Posted By Rod Kaufman

Let's see what Rich's comrades are up to now:

Well, after previously characterizing Zelensky as a "rat", Tucker, after accepting Putin's reason for invading Ukraine for the purpose of "denazification", (you can't make this stuff up), Tucker relays his comrade's terms for the release of the imprisoned WSJ reporter: trade him for a “patriotic” Russian hitman in Germany." (you can't make this stuff up):

Another Defamation Case Prevails

Posted By Rod Kaufman

"A jury has awarded climate scientist Michael Mann more than $1 million in a defamation lawsuit he brought against a former scholar and a media personality who lampooned Mann’s work."

“Today’s verdict vindicates Mike Mann’s good name and reputation,” his attorney Pete Fontaine said in the statement. “It also is a big victory for truth scientists everywhere who dedicate their lives answering vital scientific questions impacting human health and the planet.”

"Defamation is notoriously difficult to prove in the United States, because the First Amendment provides wide protections for speech. However, Mann’s is the latest in a recent string of defamation trial victories for plaintiffs or large settlements – most notably including E. Jean Carrol’s $83.3 million verdict against former President Donald Trump. And last year, Fox Corp. agreed to pay Dominion Voting Systems $787 million in a settlement."

Trump Attacks Haley For Absence Of Her Husband Who Is Deployed

Posted By Rod Kaufman

"Former President Donald Trump used a rally in South Carolina on Saturday to attack rival Nikki Haley in her home state — and to mock the absence of her husband, who is deployed overseas."

“Where’s her husband? Oh, he’s away. … What happened to her husband? Where is he? He’s gone,” Trump said at his rally in Conway, his first visit to the state this year."

"Michael Haley is deployed in Africa with the South Carolina Army National Guard in support of the United States Africa Command, his second active-duty deployment overseas."

“Michael is deployed serving our country, something you know nothing about. Someone who continually disrespects the sacrifices of military families has no business being commander in chief,” Haley said in a post on X later Saturday."

"Notably, former first lady Melania Trump has not joined her husband for any public campaign events since his presidential announcement in November 2022 and has not appeared alongside him at any of his court appearances."

Trump Tries To Do Putin's Bidding By Blocking Aid To Ukraine/Israel

Posted By Rod Kaufman

"Trump’s comments come after he launched a torrent of attacks on a $118 billion bipartisan border deal and foreign aid package that Senate Republicans ended up blocking Wednesday. It was a stunning rebuke of legislation that would have enacted restrictive border measures and was crafted in part by one of their own members — James Lankford of Oklahoma, one of the chamber’s most conservative senators."

"The former president’s comments Saturday suggest the new foreign aid package, on which the Senate is slated to begin procedural votes Sunday, will end up similarly torpedoed."

Once again, Putin's useful idiot, supported by Rich Davis, attempts to thwart much needed aid at a critical juncture much to the delight of the Russian Federation...

Trump says he would encourage Russia to ‘do whatever the hell they want’ to any NATO country that doesn’t pay enough

Posted By Rod Kaufman

"Former President Donald Trump on Saturday said he would encourage Russia to do “whatever the hell they want” to any NATO member country that doesn’t meet spending guidelines on defense in a stunning admission he would not abide by the collective-defense clause at the heart of the alliance if reelected."

“NATO was busted until I came along,” Trump said at a rally in Conway, South Carolina. “I said, ‘Everybody’s gonna pay.’ They said, ‘Well, if we don’t pay, are you still going to protect us?’ I said, ‘Absolutely not.’ They couldn’t believe the answer.”

"Trump said “one of the presidents of a big country” at one point asked him whether the US would still defend the country if they were invaded by Russia even if they “don’t pay.”

“No, I would not protect you,” Trump recalled telling that president. “In fact, I would encourage them to do whatever the hell they want. You got to pay. You got to pay your bills.”

Lol! House GOP Succeeds in Impeaching Secretary Mayorkas

This amounted to a Historic occurance as this is pointed out in the article:

A Cabinet secretary has not been impeached by the U.S. Congress since 1876.
Wow, they impeached him by one vote:
"Tuesday’s vote was 214 to 213. Three Republicans – Ken Buck of Colorado, Mike Gallagher of Wisconsin, and Tom McClintock of California – voted with Democrats against the measure."

"The Department of Homeland Security said that House Republicans “will be remembered by history for trampling on the Constitution” following the vote to impeach."

“House Republicans will be remembered by history for trampling on the Constitution for political gain rather than working to solve the serious challenges at our border,” DHS spokesperson Mia Ehrenberg said in a statement."

https://www.cnn.com/2024/02/13/politics/alejandro-mayorkas-impeachment-vote/index.html

So, rather than addressing a bipartisan bill on border reform and, thus far, refusing to back the bipartisan bill aid for Ukraine, Israel and Taiwan, we have a meaningless political ploy advanced by Trump and enabled by Marjorie Taylor Green. No doubt  you and the rest of their useful idiots in MAGA will be be going apeshit over their "accomplishment"...
