Exxon Mobil over-pressurized a critical part in their California Torrance refinery and it blew up. Couple that with a strike aimed at refineries and Ca is screwed. While I'm upset we have to pay for Exxon Mobil's kaboom, I think their proposal on the strike action makes sense:

If it holds, you'd probably have sub second arc seeing in combo with excellent transparency. I bet Floyd Blue could really punch the envelope on that one! The moon would set around midnight or thereabouts and there's a bubble of high pressure over the mountain keeping the air dry and stable. That combo in the clock doesn't happen very often...

"Justified" At Mt Pinos Parking Lot

I was watching the FX channel presentation of its series entitled "Justified" when I caught a scene that I was sure was taken up at the parking lot on Mt Pinos so I googled it and, sure enough, they filmed up in the area:

It's kind of an odd series but it has its moments about a modern day rogue deputy Marshall who tracks an array of villains who bushwhack each other at every turn. I like watching veteran actor Sam Elliot portray a villain with his gravel-voiced tongue who goes up against the Marshall. Elliot also does the voice overs on the Dodge Ram truck commercials...

Gas prices in Ca have gone ballistic. Exxon Mobil is THE cause:

As I've stated before, if an explosion stops production at virtually any other plant, the company takes the loss. Here we have a situation wherein the public absorbs the loss and the initiator of the problem increases their profits as the cost of their product increases....
