It means that the elements almost touch each other only in the center. What would be the effect on the picture I guess only the lens designer would be able to tell (i.e. what was the designed spacing etc.)
If you are concerned, the best way would be to take a Roddier test.

2 inch eyepieces?

Question 2: what other 2 inch ep would be a good fit between the 13 mm and 35 mm Panoptic? Or should I just get a Powermate and be done with it? Thoughts appreciated.

One thing to take into account is your age=max. size of dilated pupil.
I am thinking right now what to get above the 13mm Ethos. (scopes 16f4.7, 6f5 and 110f7)
I presume my pupil will be around 5mm by now.
So anything above 22-26 mm will give me an exit pupil greater than mine. Does it matter ? Here possibly opinions could split: maybe the visual field will be more important to you despite effectively looking through a "smaller" scope with such eyepiece ?
In my case, I have hard time to decide between Nagler 22 and Nagler 26. The latter gives me bigger than my pupil on the fast scopes I have.
http://www.klhess.com/telecalc.htm is a nice calculation tool for these deliberations.

What are the pitfalls of selling to Europe?

Posted By David Simper

I had successful transactions with people in UK and Italy among others but the last experience was different.
The buyer first wanted to pay on installments, then when he had the money ready he haggled on the shipping (I quoted the USPS web) then he requested the "gift designation" AFTER he paid so I refunded his money. I pointed him to last thread on a similar topics so he can "get it" from Stacey's post, but see his response (after which I cut all contact):

WHat i can do is send you $121 now, and send you the postage costs once, the
parcel arrives. IF you have filled out the customs in some other way than
recommended (just to be awkward) then I will retain the postage to offset any
customs charge that may or may not accrew.

AM not at all impressed that you seem determined to be stubborn about this.

As i have already stated 2ndhand goods under £130 in value are not subject to a
charge., so there is ot reason for you to be difficult about this.

YOu remind me of my uncle who worked for the Inland revenue for 40 years, he
only started smiling after he retired!

Thank you for your cooperation! "

Opposite issue, mirror sold to me revealed as a fake Ostahowski potato chip Strehl 0.5 (Zygo), not by Ostahowski as Terry confirmed to me. I would like to change the rating on Zane Landers who refused to take it back, I sent an email to the address above, waiting 6 days for response, maybe, staff on vacation angel?
