I am not getting any pics when i view ads. This just started a day or so ago. So not sure what is going on.

To me, power depends on three things!
Seeing, good optics and a well collimated scope.

For a 10" Dob in 8+ seeing, thats collimated, with super optics, should handle 350x 850x.
But for most people i would say around 200x 400x should do fine. Any fast scope, that's not collimated will really show its bad side once you get the power above 200x...

I've had many fast 10" scopes, and the ones with bad optics wont handle high powers!

Best telescope ever?

From your experience, what would you say is (or was) the best telescope ever made?

Don't know what the best scope made is, but after owning 140 scopes, i would have to say my 14.5" Starmaster!
The Starmaster was easy to setup and had the best optics, one nite i had it up to 1150x, on the planets! I could gone higher, but hand tracking over 800x is not for the faint of heart.

Some are GO-TO, and others have the high power motors, for fast slewing. The EM-200 i bought was made around four years ago. I should have the mount in a week or so!

I think everyone should pay a flat rate per year fee, be it they place one ad, or a 100 ads!

I would be more than happy to pay $100 to $140 a year to use Astromart. Without Astromart i would be dead in the water! There is no other place to buy and sell scopes and stuff, that are a worth a darn.

Thanks Mike! Well the FS-128 is to big to fit my Vixen rings. The FS-128 is much bigger in size than i tought it would be.

I have a FS-78 , with a 2" adapter, i can focus a 31mm & 22mm Nag, but only just! My 2" 2x Powermate wont focus before, or in the diagonal.

The FS-78 is a great little scope, with my Nag's and Radians.

Yes, his nearly 1000 ads on AstroMart are a credit to something.
His account was brought before the AstroMart peer group and THEY determined he was dealing on AstroMart without SPONSORING. I totally agree with their decision.
