I figured I'd try a change of pace and image Saturn this morning. Well I got Mars as well, but still working on it. grin

Meade LX90 8" SCT @ f/35, ToUcam 840 w/IR block, seeing 5-7/10, Frames=977/2300 @ 10fps, 9:45 UT 10/3/2005.

Hi all,

Here is Mars from this morning under superb conditions. I believe it's my most detailed image of Mars to date.

Meade LX90 8" SCT @ f/57.5, ToUcam 840 w/IR block, Seeing 7-9/10, Transparency 2/5(fog), Frames= 1330/2250 @ 10fps, Taken 7:33 UT.

Here is Moretus from September 22, 2005. It's not in the same class as Mike Wirths' or Alan Friedman's recent images, but hey my scope is little. grin

Here is my first image of Mars in a month under average seeing. I hope I don't have to wait another month for the next. :S
