Maryland, New Jersey, Delaware, all had slaves up until the Civil War.  In fact the Census of 1860 indicated that in Maryland alone, there were registered on the public records, over 87,000 slaves recorded in that state.  New Jersey had 1800 slaves recorded. There were 18 in Delaware.

You really need a good history lesson rather than relying on Wikipedia all the time.  

Have you ever had a College Course in History, which dealt with the United States at the time of the Civil War?  

Apparently not.  

Go back and get a GED for God Sakes and quit posting such nonsense.
