Most, if not all, of the ballots in question were submitted with the citizen/non-citizen box left unchecked. That's a mistake people made and it does not mean they were illegal aliens. Additionally, that could have been cleared up by considering them to be a provisional ballot that wouldn't have been counted until the voter provided a clarification of their status.

Stop lying! The ballots weren't marked as citizen or non citizen and others were simply marked in error. In either case, they could have been easily counted as provisional ballots with a final determination made after clarification and documentation by the voter in the registrar's office.

Yup, it's all a big conspiracy over 1600 votes with citizens with it, as if the DOJ is going to do a conspiracy deal over something like that, Davis, as usual, is full of it...

I'd love to see one or two or three of the cons on the court on one of those purged voter lists. 
That said, it appears that the statue the DOJ cited is relatively straightforward so I'm guessing this another example of the cons on SCOTUS refusing to consider a case on its merits except for the cases that only they self-select to do so...
