Anybody else anxious? I feel like a little kid waiting for Santa Claus. It's been almost 30 years since we've had lander pictures from a *completely* new, totally unexplored world. Now the time has finally arrived. The anticipation is killing me! :S shocked 8O grin

Which diagonal for the ED 80mm?

Posted By Paul Maxson

I have an ED80 and use a 1 1/2" diagonal with it just fine for visual observing. I don't like the 2" diagonal that came with it...quite heavy!!

Hadley Rille

Posted By Paul Maxson

Mike,

I took the liberty of brightening the image a bit. It is truly a wonderful image. Until I saw the picture in Woods' book, and your's I didn't realize how far Hadley Rille snakes around. Hope you like what I did to it. smile

Saturn from Utah - 01-20-05

Tyler,

Sweet image!! At least your Ultima works now. My C925 is just as bad CCD-wise as before it's visit to Celestron. The ED100 easily outperforms it when attached to the Toucam....though visually it's pretty nice.
