Was A 40 Year Old Trump Recruited By The KGB In Moscow?

Posted By Rod Kaufman

“We should spend less time worrying about Putin,” Trump wrote on Truth Social."

"his former national security adviser, H.R. McMaster, saying the president is “being played” by Putin"

"Senate Republican: Putin ‘killing anyone who disagrees with him"

"Sen. Bill Cassidy (R-La.) criticized Russian President Vladimir Putin’s track record of killing his perceived enemies on Monday, coming as President Trump and his Cabinet studiously avoid criticizing the Russian leader as they pursue peace talks."

“Putin routinely throws people who disagree with him out of windows or blows up the planes they are in. He has not just invaded Ukraine. He is killing anyone who disagrees with him,” Cassidy wrote on the social platform X."

Was A 40 Year Old Trump Recruited By The KGB In Moscow?

Posted By Rod Kaufman

"The former head of Kazakhstan’s intelligence service, Alnur Mussayev, recently claimed in a Facebook post that Donald Trump was recruited by the KGB in 1987, when the 40-year-old real-estate mogul first visited Moscow."

"The allegation would, if true, be a bombshell. Mussayev provides no documentary evidence —but then how could he? He alleged that Trump’s file is in Vladimir Putin’s hands."

"Mussayev isn’t the only ex-KGB officer to have made such an assertion. Several years ago, Yuri Shvets, a former KGB major now resident in Washington, D.C., served as one of the key sources for Craig Unger’s best-selling book, “American Kompromat: How the KGB Cultivated Donald Trump, and Related Tales of Sex, Greed, Power, and Treachery.”

"Just after Mussayev made his claim, another ex-KGB officer living in France, Sergei Zhyrnov, categorically endorsed the allegations in an interview with a Ukrainian journalist."

"None of these former KGB operatives has provided evidence, but the fact that three KGB agents located in different places and speaking at different times agree on the story suggests this possibility should not be dismissed out of hand. If there’s one thing we’ve learned from the first Trump administration and from the initial weeks of the second, it is that everything, including what appears to be impossible, is possible."

"We’ll probably never know the truth. But even with no slam-dunk evidence, the allegations should be, to say the least, disturbing, especially for the genuine patriots in the MAGA camp."

Trump and Zelensky meeting devolves into shouting match over Ukraine war

Posted By Rod Kaufman

Of course Davis sides with the Trump "JD" Putin commie team and he was probably a bit late in posting about it because he was likely celebrating Friday night happy hour early in recognition of the complete capitulation to Putin and, in doing so, joins his comrades in Moscow who are doing precisely that.

In other news, Russia and China are now actively recruiting what Elon's musketeers have deemed excess baggage, that being fired federal employees:

"Adversaries of the United States, particularly China and Russia, are telling their intelligence services to boost their efforts to recruit disgruntled U.S. federal national security employees who have been fired or could lose their jobs soon, according to sources familiar with U.S. intelligence on the issue."

"The sources said that the adversaries believe the mass layoffs laid out by the Office of Personnel Management earlier this week will leave the former or soon-to-be former workers vulnerable enough to spill information, reported CNN Friday."

"Russia and China, in particular, are focusing on fired employees who have information about government bureaucracy and vital critical infrastructure, as well as probationary employees."

"At least two countries have set up websites to recruit people and are targeting federal employees through LinkedIn, two of the sources said."

"It doesn't take a lot of imagination to see that these cast aside federal workers with a wealth of institutional knowledge represent staggeringly attractive targets to the intelligence services of our competitors and adversaries," a third source told CNN."

Davis will probably go back out and celebrate that, too.

How true, and, looking at the response from the leaders of European nations, we see:

"Germany's foreign minister Annalena Baerbock said the "unspeakable" row resembled a "bad dream" and "underlined that a new age of infamy has begun".

"French President Emmanuel Macron posted: "There is an aggressor: Russia. There is a victim: Ukraine. We were right to help Ukraine and sanction Russia three years ago - and to keep doing so."

"Dutch Prime Minister Dick Schoof said the Netherlands supports Ukraine "now more than ever", adding: "We want a lasting peace and an end to the war of aggression started by Russia. For Ukraine and its people, and for Europe."

"Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez said: "Ukraine, Spain stands with you," while his Polish counterpart Donald Tusk wrote: "Dear [Zelensky], dear Ukrainian friends, you are not alone."

"There were also supportive messages for Ukraine from political leaders in Austria, Belgium, Croatia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Ireland, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Moldova, Romania, Sweden and Slovenia."

"Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said Canada "will continue to stand with Ukraine and Ukrainians in achieving a just and lasting peace".

"Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese posted that his country had "proudly supported the brave people of Ukraine in their struggle to defend their sovereignty against the brutality of Russian aggression and in support of international law".

First, in aid provided to Ukraine, as per the BBC it needs to be understood that Trump's claim of $350 billion is false and maximally it's about $182 billion and probably closer to $119 billion but either way, it's substantially less than what Trump claims.

"We asked the White House about the basis for the $350bn claim. So far, it hasn't provided an explanation."

"President Trump has claimed: "We've spent more than $300bn and Europe has spent about $100bn - that's a big difference"

"Short answer: Figures suggest Europe has spent more when all aid is included and, as above, we can't find any evidence for the $300bn figure."

"The United States is, by some margin, the largest single donor to Ukraine. But Europe combined has spent more money than the United States, according to the Kiel Institute.

"The figure includes aid directly from the European Union, but also from bilateral deals from European countries, both inside and outside the EU. It includes military, financial and humanitarian aid."

That said, what you're supposedly doing is thinking the war can be "negotiated" with Putin.

"Since the collapse of the Soviet Union, Russian troops have repeatedly occupied swathes of territory in former Soviet republics – and despite years of negotiations overseen by European powers, they still haven’t left."

"In Moldova, Russian forces are still stationed in the breakaway region of Transnistria, which declared its – largely unrecognised – independence as the USSR fell in ruins around it. And a full fifth of Georgia’s territory is still occupied by Russian troops who routed Tbilisi's forces following the Georgian government’s efforts to violently suppress secessionist movements in Abkhazia and South Ossetia."

"Russia always tries to reach an agreement which it necessarily breaks. It's a pattern, it breaks the promises that it makes because it knows that nobody is going to enforce the agreements, nobody is going to hold Russia accountable for breaking its promises and agreements."

"And this is the pattern that we are observing now with Ukraine – what Russia is trying to do at the moment is exactly the same thing as it did with Moldova and Georgia. And there is another pattern – every American administration, probably with the exception of Biden's presidency, has these illusions that it can make a lasting peace with Russia. It failed every time."

You can read about what followed in the Minsk agreements between Russia and Ukraine in the above link but it's obvious Putin broke those, too.

"It would be simple if they did."

The fact that you can even write that demonstrates the folly of your thinking on the matter.

There is NO simple way of leading by anyone that has or can lead to the end of the war. Negotiations with Putin, as has been evidenced time and time again, lead nowhere except to broken agreements and more expansile efforts for power and land acquisition by him.

Appeasement only makes makes him more aggressive. He has his entire country on an economic war footing and that's not about to change because of any so-called negotiated ceasefire in Ukraine and Putin will use the time to reconstitute his forces.

As I've stated before, Putin understands only one language: Action and respects only one word: Force.

if you think Putin is going to abide by whatever Trump proposes because, as Trump states, "he respects me", then I have a bridge to sell you...

Trump and Zelensky meeting devolves into shouting match over Ukraine war

"Ukrainian Ambassador to the US Oksana Markarova was seen holding her head in her hands as she watched the heated meeting between Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and President Donald Trump on Friday, according to a photo taken inside the room by CNN’s Kaitlan Collins."

"The two leaders — along with Vice President JD Vance — engaged in a tense back-and-forth in the Oval Office over the nature of US support for Ukraine’s war against Russia."

"Zelensky is hoping to appeal to the US for continued security assistance during his trip to Washington. Collins said that all of Trump’s diplomacy “is personal,” while Zelensky took a different approach: being “straightforward in his opinions.”

Wall Street Journal Goes After Trump

Posted By Rod Kaufman

"The Wall Street Journal’s editorial board went after President Trump on foreign policy on Sunday, saying it is “less brave new world than a reversion to a dangerous old one.”

"The board highlighted recent actions such as Trump trying to “wash his hands” of Ukraine and threatening allies in Europe and North America with even higher tariffs than adversaries like China."

“All of this would amount to an epochal return to the world of great power competition and balance of power that prevailed before World War II. It’s less a brave new world than a reversion to a dangerous old one,” the board wrote."

Former Head Of Social Security: DOGE Cuts Could Cause It's Collapse in 30 To 90 Days

Posted By Rod Kaufman

"Martin O’Malley, the former commissioner of the Social Security Administration (SSA), said Monday the recent cuts made by tech billionaire Elon Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) at the agency could result in the “collapse” of the Social Security system “within the next 30 to 90 days.”

"He warned the current administration’s attempts to reduce the workforce will lead to the departure of vital staff and threaten the agency’s fundamental operations."

“Ultimately, you’re going to see the system collapse and an interruption of benefits,” he said. “I believe you will see that within the next 30 to 90 days.”

"Warning of these interruptions, Malley said, “people should start saving now.”

"More than 73 million individuals, including 56 million elderly people, depend on the agency for their monthly benefit payments."
