IC 1396 with Takahashi FS-60c

Tried an experiment this past week. Wanted to see if I would be able to change out my imaging train from on scope to another. Wanted to be able to do it within 5min including the focusing. YES something like speed changing.
So I started this image at 8:30pm on two seperate nights and ended it at 9:45pm each night. It turned out better than I had hoped, the image that is. Also I can not go from scope to scope within 5 min.

N7635 HaRGB 10 hours of Fun

Following is a 10hour combined image of the Bubble taken on 4 different nights spanning almost 3 weeks. Light polution at my house has gotten to be a problem as of late too.

I also put one together before I took the gradients out of the channels. Gives you an idea of the light polution I deal with at home, and what it can do to an image. These were not an easy thing to deal with this time. The polution by me has grown tremendously in the past 2 years making my skies a pain to image in.

Moon image less than one second image

I had some time the other night before I was imaging so decided to take a few images of the moon.
each was taken with the FRC300, FL/1770 SBIG10xe Ha filter and .7second
This is one frame, nothing stacked.

Finally decided to give this region a closer look. Though the weather has not wanted me to. This image has taken me 3 weeks to image. Only because of clouds even coming in after a couple of hours of imaging on those "false" clear nights. Taken with a Takahashi FRC300 F/5.9 SBIG 10xe

Pirates working for Goldman??

NORFOLK, VIRGINIA (The Borowitz Report) - Eleven indicted Somali pirates dropped a bombshell in a U.S. court today, revealing that their entire piracy operation is a subsidiary of banking giant Goldman Sachs.

There was an audible gasp in court when the leader of the pirates announced, "We are doing God's work. We work for Lloyd Blankfein."

The pirate, who said he earned a bonus of $48 million in dubloons last year, elaborated on the nature of the Somalis' work for Goldman, explaining that the pirates forcibly attacked ships that Goldman had already shorted.

"We were functioning as investment bankers, only every day was casual Friday," the pirate said.

The pirate acknowledged that they merged their operations with Goldman in late 2008 to take advantage of the more relaxed regulations governing bankers as opposed to pirates, "plus to get our share of the bailout money."

In the aftermath of the shocking revelations, government prosecutors were scrambling to see if they still had a case against the Somali pirates, who would now be treated as bankers in the eyes of the law.

"There are lots of laws that could bring these guys down if they were, in fact, pirates," one government source said. "But if they're bankers, our hands are tied."

Why Industrial Production should take a nose dive.

Since 1995 the M2 (money stock) has an inverse correlation with industrial production, suggesting — given the sharpness of the M2 spike— that industrial production is due to trail off dramatically.

This has always been the case since 1995- will this change now? more than likely not
