Which one?

Posted By Darrell Fichtl

I was reading this morning some of the works of Josephus; It appears that there were a multitude:

1.Jesus son of Danmeus
2.Jesus son of Sapphias
3.Jesus son of Ananu
4.Jesus the high priest and son of Onias
5.Jesus son of Gamaliel
6.Jesus son of Gamala
7.Jesus son of Saphat
8.Jesus son of Thebuthus

There's enough stuff here to fill a bible! Hmmm!

Constantine

Posted By Darrell Fichtl

Have you ever considered that Constantine may have been the Tom Clancy of his era?

Maybe he got the Roman Hootspa award for best fiction by and author in 325AD!

Leaving a legacy

Posted By Darrell Fichtl

Was surfing the channels this afternoon and came upon INSP the inspirational channel.

At five they had a program "In Touch" the segment was titled "How to leave a legacy that pleases God."

Say What!!!

How about a legacy that pleases me!

Obviously there is too much politicking going on to listen to the Holy Spirit. Wouldn't you love to hear the infighting that's going on!

Strike Two!

Man Spits on Jane Fonda in Protest

Posted By Darrell Fichtl

Couldn't happen to a more rottener gal in my books.

Regardless of your feelings about the Vietnam war you don't go over to the other side and sit behind an AA gun that's shooting down our pilots.

The guy said she was a traitor and he's telling the absolute truth. As far as I'm concerned she should have spent some time in the pookey like maybe five to 10!

Re: Fonda? You want to talk about traitors?

Boy, do I see it different from you!

Okay, let's just change things around a bit. What if you now saw a photo op of Ms. Jane with the Muslim insurgents in Baghdad packing around an RPG launcher on her shoulder.

Frankly, I don't see any difference in the two situations. Both wars are unpopular as hell. Both wars our guys were being killed for NOTHING.

No matter how you paint her, she still stinks and should have spent time in the pokey.

Now we know about the gas prices!!

Posted By Darrell Fichtl

Bush said his administration "is doing everything we can" to fight high gasoline prices and urged Congress to get an energy bill to his desk by "this summer."

Or "Give'em high gas prices for awhile and they will agree to anything."

Come on hsuB, we're not THAT dumb!

Re: Thank you so much Today Show

Posted By Darrell Fichtl

Many years ago, when I first started working for Pacific NW Bell as a craftsman, I worked nights (12PM-8AM) and was often posted at the TVOC (Television Operating Center). I saw the Today show with Dave Garroway, Jack Lescoulie and Frank Blair for years from start to finish.

Those days, I afraid, are gone forever. Unless your IQ is minus point crap your not amused in the slightest. I haven't watched the Today show for thirty years or more.

As with most things on TV, aside from the Discovery Channel and PBS, it only pablum for the dim witted.

Have you ever considered that the place we currently live might be "Hell" from a previous life? 8O

The way some of the things are going it could sure add up to it couldn't it?
