Is there a TNSP this year?

John,
I was a former member of BSAS and now am a member of CAS in Tennessee. I also live 3 miles from the TAG camp near Lynchburg TN.
I was informed that this year,there will not be a TNSP at the TAG camp. The BSAS Club is being run by a bunch of loons. TNSP used too be a great Star Party, and it will take a major change in the Leadership. CAS has a great Star Party, at Fall Creek Falls State in the Spring of each year. We are in the Plans for next year with great speakers and Venders. But we are also looking into what we can do for this year absence of TNSP.

I think your talking about the moon Europa, that orbits Jupiter. Icy surface, with an ocean of water under it. I would say that it would be very risky as well as costly. And at this moment with government tightening it's belt, on the long list.
