That may be a real challenge! I've not used anything over 32mm. The 34mm Abbes are the longest I've heard of but never used.

The solar scientists are now predicting minimum to be around May. The cycle isn't exactly 11 years. the last one was around 10 years so this one could be closer to 12 years. Lets hope its not another Maunder Minimum.

Sure looks like an eclipse!

We were at a public astronomy night at Rocky Mountain National Park on Friday. The moon is always a great crowd pleaser. Kids and parents from all over the country are always amazed at how much can be seen through a telescope.
