His father also said that he was getting more and more political and that he disagreed quite vocally with Charlie Kirk's politics.

So then what does his family's politics have to do with him?

Do you think that's where he may have learned how to shoot and got access to his firearm? Do you think his family's political ideology and his upbringing had absolutely no effect or bearing on his beliefs and attitudes? Obviously he vehemently disagreed with Kirk but we don't know the details behind this person and he's not talking to investigators. The young man who shot Trump was a Republican, too.

That said, we still don't know what motivated the Kirk shooter although one of the video games he reportedly engaged in was on the news and a video character on a roof top in a sniper position is uttering the same song or phrase inscribed by the shooter on a shell casing.
