General Milley thought Trump was nuts!

Posted By Jim Moscheck

Excerpt from the book:

"Then Milley received a blunt phone call from House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, according to the book.

Woodward and Costa exclusively obtained a transcript of the call, during which Milley tried to reassure Pelosi that the nuclear weapons were safe.

Pelosi pushed back.

"What I'm saying to you is that if they couldn't even stop him from an assault on the Capitol, who even knows what else he may do? And is there anybody in charge at the White House who was doing anything but kissing his fat butt all over this?"

Pelosi continued, "You know he's crazy. He's been crazy for a long time."

According to Woodward and Costa, Milley responded, "Madam Speaker, I agree with you on everything.""

I was talking about the meeting he had on Jan. 8th. You don't have the best reading comprehension, do you? Did you read the article I linked?

My nephew and the members of his squadron think Milley should resign in disgrace.

Oh, you were in touch with your nephew and his squadron were you? Did you poll every one?

I call this Rich BS.

You're the one who called me out 2 times, saying I didn't answer you, when I did.

If me simply pointing that out, and reposting exactly the same response that YOU MISSED, is some sort of "bombastic rhetoric" in your eyes, you must be the most fragile snowflake on this forum.    tongue
No that was referring to all of the posts you make that no one seems to respond to. Even your right wing buddies here don't post in them. You want me to list all of the threads, views, and responses to your bombastic trolling?

That gave me a chuckle.

you ask "did you poll every one"?

No, I didn't poll every one, I simply spoke w/my nephew, and said to him "what do your guys think of all this", and he spoke adamantly saying "are you kidding, we can't even believe what's going on.  Austin and Milley should resign!"

My nephew and I talked for awhile and he said to me "I knew Joe Biden would be bad, but I didn't know he'd be this bad.  He's the worst President in my lifetime (although he's only 40)"

Now then, let me just say that I haven't spoken w/ my nephew about this latest charge of Milley going Rogue (according to Bob Woodward), but IF he did and made those phone calls to our enemy IN SECRET as both CNN and Bob Woodward claim...

Then I can't even imagine what my nephew or any other active member of the military would think.

My guess is that they would all be outraged!
You contradict yourself later in the same post, so you were just making up the first part to fit your narrative then?

Yeah, you've done that before.

Hello everyone

Hey guys, I guess it's comforting to know some things never change, like this place. I think.

Hello everyone

Iz does the definitive version of that song AFAIC. Listening to it now for the umpteenth time.

Johnny Cash is another of my favorites of all time. Great video. Thanks.

I thought the Stormy joke was pretty funny, too. This is a tough crowd for humor.

Except for Richard. He's good for a lot of laughs in this forum.  wink

So who's heading to DC for the big rally against democracy tomorrow?

https://www.cnn.com/2021/09/15/politics/september-18-rally-capitol-security-explainer/index.html

Looks like at least some are wizely steering clear of it.

"No sitting member of Congress is scheduled to appear at the rally. But the speaker lineup includes two Republican congressional candidates -- Mike Collins, who's running for a House seat in Georgia, and Joe Kent, who is running to unseat Rep. Jaime Herrera Beutler of Washington state, a Republican who voted to impeach Trump."

They expect only about 700 supporters. I guess you do need a big name like Trump to bring more wackos out for an event. Not that I'm saying that he incited January 6th. No wait, yes I am.
