The debate is not over. Science is not done by consensus. I keep saying it, because it's still true. I posted this link in another thread, but here it is again, in case you didn't see it: http://www.globalwarmingheartland.org/Article.cfm?artId=21977 It is a list of 500 skeptical scientists, their home institutions, and the peer reviewed papers that they've had printed in major journals. I find it hard to believe that supposedly smart, educated people believe that the science is done, and that a consensus exists. How foolish. Since 1938, maybe 1935,or so, machine guns have been regulated by the Feds, to combat the "machine gun Kellys" robbing banks. Until then, all you had to do to get one was go on down to your local hardward store. You, if you aren't mentally ill, or a convicted felon, can own as many as you care to-or afford. Just go thru the registration process established by Congress. I recall reading, or hearing on the tv that since that date, no legally owned machine gun has been used in a crime. Those that have been used were stolen, illegally converted from the semi-auto versions, illegally owned by felons, etc. In other words, it doesn't matter how many you have if you don't ever use them in commission of a crime. 80-100million gun owners went to bed last night without violating any laws.

Ya Kno Wat Bugs Me?

I have, upon occasion listed a link to a source of information, and invariably, the source was discredited, said to have links to Exxon, etc. Well, that knife cuts both directions. Far-left George Soros has connections to Jim Hansen of NASA. Now, how much of what Hansen has stated can be trusted to not be biased? How much of a scientist that openly stated that some of the funding for his project came from Exxon, or other source can be trusted versus Hansen, who did not openly declare the financial involvement of Soros?
