Taken on 6/1/03 with the Nikon 4300 / Swarovski ATS65 combo, near Hammett, Idaho. Distance was about 50 feet. Sorry about the larger image but I just couldn't make myself reduce it any smaller and watch all the detail disappear!

Brandts cormorants displaying at Yaquina Head on the Oregon Coast. Check out the eye color on the displaying cormorant on the left. My camera didn't really capture the color very well, but their eyes are amazing. My 5 year old daughter calls this place the "Bird Church"....lots of jabber I guess?
