Recementing lenses...

i know this had been covered in one of these forums before, but i though it'd be faster to re-ask:

Anyone out here have advice for recementing achromats? i have a doublet approximately 30mm diameter that is coming unglued. What is an appropriate solvent to finish the job of separation and what are your recommendations for recementing it? How easy is it to get hold of Canadian balsam or similar cements in the minute quantity required, etc.?
