Saturn last night

Hi all,

Here is Saturn taken last night about 1:56UT. Luminance portion taken with DMK 21AF04 and RGB with ToUcam 840. Meade 8" LX90 SCT @ f/35, seeing 3-7/10.

Another Saturn from the 6th

Hi all,

I finished processing all the avi's I had from last Monday and found a better avi taken with the DMK. I added this to the same RGB taken with the ToUcam that I used in the last image. This image appears to my eyes to have slightly more details in both the rings and globe.
The unfiltered luminance was taken about an hour after my previously posted image and I used 1150/9000 frames taken over 5 minutes. Thanks for looking again.

Meade 8" LX90 SCT @ f/35. DMK 21AF04 for luminance and ToUcam 840 for RGB. It's one of my best images of Saturn.

Saturn: A personal best

Hi everyone,

I was out Thursday night and had the best 5 minutes of seeing for Saturn I've ever had. I captured 9000 frames of luminance during this time and used 2250 of those frames for the luminance portion of this image. This is by far the best image of Saturn I have to date.
Meade LX90 8" SCT @ f/35, seeing 6-8/10, transparency 3/5, DMK 21AF04 for luminance, ToUcam 840 for RGB.

Meade 8" LX90 SCT @ f/35, seeing 4-6/10, transparency 3/5, DMK 21AF04 for luminance(2000/9000 frames) and ToUcam 840 for RGB(1000/4600 frames).

Hi everone,

Here is Clavius, taken Sunday April 9th, the same night as Saturn. It's the first lunar image I've taken using the DMK camera. I'm still getting used to the right settings for the Moon, but I'm happy with the results of this image. MAP processing, 9 alignment points.
Meade LX90 8" SCT @ f/25, seeing 4-6/10, frames=500/2250 @ 30fps, taken 9:22pm edt/1:22UT, resized 120%.
