Question about the 9.25"

I have a 3 yr. old Celestar C8.. have been hearing the the raves from some 9.25 owners that state the marked improvement in the added 1.25" I have not had the chance to view through a 9.25 yet. would like to hear some of your thoughts if you have tried both.. Is it also true that the Tube on the 9.25 is actually longer than the C11? I guess if all I have heard so far is true I will be ready for the up-grade.. thank you all, John Meiners, Astoria, OR.

I realize the Sombrero is close to 60 million LY's away but I still would like to view it. When is it high enough in Virgo that it can be located? have been looking in the SE after midnight?? Thanks, John M. Astoria, OR

I have a Celestar C8. tripod/wedge... was out this evening and around 2300 hrs. (11:00pm. PST) OR. I was attempting to view M81/82. they were directly above Polaris.. My tripod was aligned as usual, with the wedge pointed in the correct direction ( The tube Parallel to the forks pointing to Polais) I guess this is where a green laser pointer would have helped, for I could not use my starbeam or straight through finder to aim in the direction of M81&82.. as it was my diagonal was underneath the tube. Everything was upside down & backwards! never had this trouble with my CG-5! any suggestions? thanks John M Astoria, OR
