I started getting the flu shot a few years ago, too, at the urging of my doctor. I have had the flu and it's not the queasiness so much as the fever that gets me. My normal temp is a little below 98.6 and my doc said a slight fever can hit me harder. Swear I can feel a bad virus in my bloodstream. When I had Covid, my whole body felt really weird for a day with a 101º fever. I hate feeling like that.

I'm on Team Moderna and will get a booster if one is ever required, especially since I work in the commercial food business.

Hi Jim, We'll in Colorado in a few weeks. Haven't been to there since 2003 but I'm taking a week off so we can attend a niece's wedding. Is the Buffalo Bar in Idaho Springs still there? How about the Little Bear in Evergreen? Remember having an awesome burger at the BB and saw some great music at the LB. Someone told me there is a really good pizza place in idaho Springs, too, but can't remember the name. I did find it odd that they said it was good pizza. In Colorado. That didn't exist when I lived in Denver, although Famous Pizza on Broadway was pretty okay.

We won't be there on the weekends and if worse comes to worse we'll get a carryout or cook. We have a Air BnB right in town with a kitchen.

Biden Accelerates Deportation Flights From Texas To Haiti

Posted By Jim Moscheck

It's funny, and not funny haha, but funny weird, that after all this time Rich still doesn't get it. He does type a lot of words, I'll give him that, but he understands little, if nothing, that is said to him. I thought maybe he might mellow out a bit after his long Astromart time out but he is now worse than he's ever been.

Really? Music to calm the beast?

Posted By Jim Moscheck

You can't make this shit up. BTW- Stephanie Grisham was the press secretary who never had a press briefing.

"In her forthcoming book I’ll Take Your Questions Now, former press secretary Stephanie Grisham wrote that an aide nicknamed “the Music Man” would follow Trump to soothe him with show tunes, per a New York Times report on the book. (The aide? Grisham’s ex Max Miller, now running for an Ohio House seat with Trump’s support.) This revelation gives way to a slew of questions: Which version of “Memory” did Trump prefer? What did he think of the Cats movie? And what other show tunes were on that playlist?"

Max Miller must have been a busy guy at the WH if all of the stories of Trump throwing tantrums.. Who knew the ex prez would be a fan of showtunes? Or be such a lightweight that the song from Cats would calm him.

What happens if you live in a police state.... Like Australia.... when you DON'T wear a mask?

All richie does here is show his utter and total ignorance of Australia. Unlike the US, Australia is serious about controlling the Coronavirus. The borders are closed. So no-one can enter or leave without special permission. Masks are compulsory for most situations. As a result, Australia has minimal infections and deaths compared to the US and the economy is doing well. That of my home state, WA, has been booming!

Despite this, some very selfish people, mainly in Victoria and NSW, have been protesting about lockdowns and mask-wearing. This has caused infections to surge in those 2 states.

The video shows one such person refusing to wear a mask and then resisting arrest and assaulting police. You would find that virtually all Aussies would fully support the actions of those police.

Maurice
Hi Maurice, nice to hear from you.

Wait, the US isn't serious about the virus? We've given it more reproductive rights than we give to women. The red states love the virus and ain't no liberal going to tell US what to do. Got to own the libs at all costs. 700,000+ now dead. Now that's serious.

How many have died in Australia? 1291. What's wrong with those people?

You know, Rich. What's with all your smiley and winky faces? Don't you think you overdo it, just a little? Not this time, but many times you post a winky face when you obviously aren't kidding around.

I've asked this before. How old are you?

GOP Pushes US To Brink Of Default

Posted By Jim Moscheck

Maybe McConnell, the GOP, and Trump should have found a way to pay for the endless wars and especially the tax cut they gave businesses and the folks who really didn’t need it. BTW those tax cuts sure helped pay for themselves, didn’t they?
