I think the problem is that the typical Toucam screen size is 640x480, which means the 512 box won't fit on the screen. I use the 256 and even the 128 box for my images, even though Jupiter is bigger than both with good success.

A variable size imaging box is a suggestion I want to make to Cor when he starts designing Registax 4.

New 16 bit Atik cameras!!

Rui hinted that his company was looking into a 16bit, USB2 planetary cam. He says cooled, high frame rate at 640x480.

Remains to be seen what comes of that.
