Mars - Lumenera first light

Posted By Paul Maxson

Russell,

What a wonderful image for first light!! Sure beat my first light Lum image by zillions!! I do like those Astronomik filters. Someday I just need to learn how to combine RGB images, or stick to my colour cam... LOL!!

What became of Eric NG and Tan Wei Leong

Posted By Paul Maxson

I know Eric pops up once in a while, I suspect they are in their monsoon season over there and imaging is not possible....that's probably why we don't see much from Chris Go as well.

Hi -

To warm myself from the first snows here I went back to a solar observation from Sept. 11, 2005. I found this small prominence with its powerful upper junction very interesting at the time - an irresistable force meeting an imoveable object?

Yours to interpret and enjoy!

Alan

Mars in Poor Seeing Nov 18th

Posted By Paul Maxson

Jim,

Still some nice data there!! For some reason here yesterday we had 15-25 mph winds all day. At sunset it died down, but the stars were dancing the twist, so I didn't image. Tonight looks better...hope you get some good seeing tonite.
