Patrick's point, lost in all the subsequent smash-mouth commentary, is that Republicans want to push Kavanaugh through no matter what because it's too risky to wait until after the mid-terms. Any short-term price they pay for alienating women voters, embracing angry white-male entitlement privilege, sullying the legitimacy of the SC, or tolerating Trump's rhetoric laced conspiracy style politics, is worth getting the SC seat seems to be McConnel's political calculus.

Your example is a false equivalence and therefore doesn't warrant an answer. No one secretly sits around reveling in the idea of anyone aborting fetuses. Suggesting that people on the left consider abortion a sacrament is a particularly offensive charge.

Of course not, and I also don't think abandoning, detaining and imprisoning minor immigrant children enhances the respect for life either. However, these matters are complex and nuanced. It is not possible, to sum up, all of the tangled variations into a single question designed to narrow the summation to a single agenda.

This man is a heinous criminal and monster, but it's a fallacy to use him to paint the entire left as gleeful about abortion. The point is Richard, no matter how much you try to move the goal posts, that the charge that abortion is a sacrament to the Left is a highly offensive, and frankly an outrageous accusation. I don't watch late night shows at all, but I did watch the Jimmy Kimmel clip on YouTube about the Kanye West Oval Office "lunch." In a nutshell, Jimmy didn't have to add much other than show clips of the event. Kanye's ranting was so bizarre and embarrassing the video wrote its jokes entirely on its own.

I hate to break it to you Darian, but blacks are not voting for Donald Trump anytime soon. Calling on blacks to honor you with their vote and then in the same breath praising Confederate General Lee is not going to "wake black people up." In 2016, 89% of all blacks voted for Clinton, and 94% of all black women voted for Clinton. Trump and the Republicans have done absolutely nothing to endear the minority vote, and this canard about black unemployment being at an all-time low is not going to work either. Unemployment is historically low for everyone across all classes, races, and genders, yet unemployment among blacks is still 3 to 4 times higher than whites. The Republicans have certainly done wonders for the female vote though!
