McCain-Palin lashing out

Posted By Jim E. Gleason

From www.factcheck.org

The new McCain-Palin ad "Lashing Out" begins like an earlier ad we criticized, with its reference to Barack Obama's celebrity, but then goes down new paths of deception. It takes quotes from news organizations and uses them out of context in an effort to portray Obama and his running mate, Joe Biden, as unfairly attacking Sarah Palin and making sexist remarks. We've long been a critic of candidates (Obama included) usurping the credibility of independent news organizations and peddling false quotes, and this ad is particularly egregious. We found it airing in Denver, as recorded by the Campaign Media Analysis Group, a unit of TNS Media Intelligence.

So it looks like Obama-Biden aren't attacking Palin, it just the repugnants maing noise.

No...she`s being attacked alright...imho, one read thru this forum the past week is all anyone needs to do to see that.

Anyway, imho, the ad is still misleading...when, in reality, it doesn`t need to be.

More from McCain-Palin

Less Than Honest

With its latest ad, released Sept. 10, the McCain-Palin campaign has altered our message in a fashion we consider less than honest. The ad strives to convey the message that FactCheck.org said "completely false" attacks on Gov. Sarah Palin had come from Sen. Barack Obama. We said no such thing. We have yet to dispute any claim from the Obama campaign about Palin.

Emphasis mine

Obama does this too...they all do...regardless, it`s still just as wrong no matter who does it...I wish both would just stop...and act high-minded like they did tonight...in town hall meetings possibly...

Palin: What's the Bush Doctrine?

Posted By Jim E. Gleason

Rod Kaufman said:

"...America's darling was asked in her interview with Charles Gibson what her opinion of the Bush doctrine is and she had no clue of what it is..."

Bull...I saw it too...don`t anyone trust the vid that`s been released...it`s been edited to make Palin look bad...just more Dem tricks which are just going to push more and more voters over to McCain!

FYI, she explained to Charles all about what Bush`s policies are...and, by doing so, exactly what the Bush doctrine is...smart lady!

Otoh, we still have BO`s IGNORANT statement on how Iran`s a tiny country which poses no threat...how he ignorantly is going to sit down with our terrorist enemies WITHOUT PRECONDITIONS and bring them around to our way of thinking...how he`s going to get rid of the world`s nuclear weapons including our own 1st...leaving us wide open to attacks from anyone...how he proposed a solution to the Russia-Georgia conflict which could simply be vetoed by Russia, etc., etc., etc!!!

Even worse, BO was never drilled on foreign policy like that and still has made many more ignorant statements!

"...What does she know? Drill, baby, drill!..."

Yep...she knows all about that alright...btw, it`s not a bad thing!

"...PS, she was also asked about the inclusion of Georgia and the Ukraine in NATO and if they were and Russia invaded them wouldn't be required to join in a war against Russia? You could see her glee when she essentially said, "You Betcha!" It must be another one of Gods tasks..."

More BULL!...which you took out of context and only told half the story!

When are you people gonna give it up...when McCain is elected I guess...keep it coming...because you`re only helping McCain!

More that Palin doesn't understand

Posted By Jim E. Gleason

Robert Pasken said:

Palin claims Alaska "produces nearly 20 percent of the U.S. domestic supply of energy." That's not true.

Alaska did produce 14 percent of all the oil from U.S. wells last year, but that's a far cry from all the "energy" produced in the U.S.

Alaska's share of domestic energy production was 3.5 percent, according to the official figures kept by the U.S. Energy Information Administration.

And if by "supply" Palin meant all the energy consumed in the U.S., and not just produced here, then Alaska's production accounted for only 2.4 percent.

OMG...you mean to tell me Sarah lies!... cwy ...must be a politician...ya think?! 8O wink

Sarah Palin was in Iraq (yeah, just like she didn't take in millions in earmarks):

What, Palin and her campaign can't keep track of her whereabouts, especially when it comes to Iraq?
Obama's campaign has it right on target when they call "reformer McCain" on how he runs his campaign:

For those of you still wondering how and why McCain will win, the Republican sleaze machine continues the BS express....

CNN - the Obama Love/McCain Hate Network over and over again from you...you got to stop watching that garbage...it`ll fry your brains, man!

It`s still his opinion, tho

. . . the attacks on Palin look silly. The media is falling all over themselves to create a "gotcha" moment.

. . . but, it's not like she said Iran was a minor threat.

. . . and, seriously, if you had the power, wouldn't you fire a trooper who admits tasering his own kid?

Maybe she's just on the forefront of an emerging civil rights issue?

. . . and, at least, she went to visit National Guard troops from her state at the Kuwait-Iraq border. It's not like she said she was ducking sniper fire.

Obviously, they can see little or no change with McCain as president so our straight talk express is going to go nowhere fast.

BUFFALO CHIPS!...who cares what they see...it`s what they see once McCain`s elected that counts...BO`s far-left agenda is close to theres...so they can have him if they want him... wink ...let him ruin them instead of us, even worse than Bush alledgedly did...as the Dem version of Bush, imho...Besides, they`re only half the world.

Imho, Much of the other half is uncivilized, etc., and can`t wait for BO to get elected...so they can take advantage of him...thereby getting many of us killed in the process...via a 9/11 attack or 2...or 3...or 4... 8O 8O 8O

The Democrats have conspired against her! Yeah right, and I suppose the commissioner who's describing her comments to ABC news as "not telling the truth" (ie lies)is an "Obama operative" as well... People get caught in their own doing and Palin is the one who got caught.

Rod...you`re just a very bitter soul just because these Libs can`t dig up anything significant enough to sink this woman...they get an A+ for effort, tho...and, of course, what ever BO`s paying them behind everyone`s back!...another waste of money on BO`s part...
