Small astigmatism about the best focus.

Hi,
Is it common having a very very small amount of astigmatism between the transistion of the inside and outside focus using high magnification (2x aperture in mm). Only by gently rocking the focus about the position of best focus. Does it cause much quality loss?

Hi,

Any comments regarding Pentax *ist D and astrophotography ? Is it better than Canon 300D ? Its smaller, lighter, has long exposure noise reduction functions and a bigger CCD sensor!

low power ep for my 12.5 f4.7 scope

Hi,

it's time now to have a really decent low power ep. I have some SWA BO (20 and 32) but the edge quality is very poor in my 12.5 f4.7 scope. I am considering a Panoptic 24mm or 27mm. The 24mm seems more famous, but the 27mm gives me more real field. I live in a medium PL city. Which ep do you suggest ? I already have the 4000 UWA 8.8 and 4000 UWA 14 eps.
